New Members
- Judo is for everyone! We are open to all and regularly have new starters from the very young to the 'mature', ranging from 1st timers to those with
experience returning to Judo.
- We run classes for younger children, older children and adults, with a programme of regular
in club gradings and competitions for those who want it.
- Training is tailored according to age and ability - all we ask is that participants try.
- All coaching is by qualified British Judo Association coaches who are trained and screened for
their suitability for working with young people.
- We welcome parents to all training sessions and competitions and value their support.
- We organise a number of social events, including the bar after training on a Friday.

How to Start
If you fancy starting Judo,
- Just come along to one of the training sessions, we have spare Judo tops we can
lend you. Just wear some track suit bottoms without zips/pockets and give it a try. We
have new starters all the time
- Pete is our nominated point of contact for new members. If you would like a chat before
attending, just give him a call (Club Officers).
- Or simply come and watch first. We have a gallery where you can see everything.
We will explain everything. The lessons are tailored to each person’s abilities.
We welcome young and old of all abilities. See
